It is with immense pride and gratitude that I assume the role of President of the award-winning Kappa Nu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® .

 

We are thrilled you have taken the opportunity to visit us and learn about the chapter history, our programs, events, and more.

Chartered on June 29, 1975, and celebrating 50 Golden years, Kappa Nu Omega continues to be deeply rooted in serving the Jonesboro community through programs focusing on awareness, advocacy, and action in the areas of leadership development, health, environmental sustainability, poverty, and economic security. As members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® we are committed to making a positive impact locally, nationally, and internationally by implementing service programs that uplift social, economic, and educational welfare. Under the guidance of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, and the 2022-2026 International Program theme, "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood" we embark on our next phase of
service.

 

The International Program includes six initiatives:

 Enhance Our Environment
 Advocate for Social Justice
 Uplift Our Local Community
